About the role

As a Full-Stack Web3 Engineer at DNA Protocol, you will turn privacy-first digital identity capabilities into understandable tools for credential holders, issuers and verifiers. Connect responsive interfaces with dependable APIs across credential holding, scoped requests, proof generation, verification and evidence inspection.

Help people understand what they disclose, what they authorize and whether an action has completed. Model proof results separately from XRPL transaction status, keep private witness values and signing secrets out of public responses, and support specialist integrations such as laboratory workflows where appropriate.

Responsibilities

  • Build responsive, accessible interfaces for credential onboarding, request review, scoped presentation and verification results.
  • Implement wallet connection and signing flows that clearly distinguish connection, authorization, submission, and validated completion.
  • Develop backend endpoints with authorization checks, input validation, rate limits, and consistent error handling.
  • Translate protocol events into truthful loading, rejected, expired, failed, and completed states.
  • Work with designers and privacy engineers to minimize data collection and make disclosure choices understandable.
  • Maintain reusable components, integration documentation, and reliable release workflows.

Qualifications

  • Strong JavaScript or TypeScript skills and experience with modern frontend frameworks and server-side application development.
  • Experience delivering accessible, responsive interfaces and integrating authenticated APIs.
  • Understanding of browser security, session handling, authorization, and common web application vulnerabilities.
  • Experience managing asynchronous state and failure cases across external services.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with design, protocol engineering, and product stakeholders.

Helpful Experience

  • Experience with XRPL wallets or other user-controlled signing integrations.
  • Familiarity with observability, event-driven services, and privacy-conscious analytics.
  • A portfolio of clear interfaces for technically complex products.

What Success Looks Like

  • An end-to-end credential presentation journey with clear disclosure choices, proof results and separate ledger status.
  • Reusable interface patterns that work on desktop and mobile.
  • An integration that keeps signing secrets, private credential witnesses and sensitive domain data out of logs and public responses.
